Gorlan, honorable mention in the category ‘Walking towards Well-being”

We have been awarded in the 10th edition of the Scholastic Zaldívar Fraternity-Muprespa Awards for our 3S Program

On April 23rd, we received an honorable mention in the category ‘Walking towards Well-being’ at the 10th edition of the Scholastic Zaldívar Awards, granted by Fraternidad-Muprespa to recognize the best practices in occupational risk prevention by mutual companies.

The jury, chaired by the HR director of Real Madrid, evaluated our 3S Program, which promotes Gorlan’s values and culture, as well as the development of corporate initiatives for voluntary participation to raise awareness about the importance of physical, mental, and emotional health. This program, which we have been developing since 2022, encompasses several voluntary corporate initiatives aimed at promoting well-being among our staff with the aim of raising awareness. The award was received by María Gómez Ormazabal, Director of Marketing and Corporate Sustainability, and Ainhoa Mendiola Zapirain from the Marketing and Corporate Communication department, presented by Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, President of Fraternidad-Muprespa.

The people who belong to the Gorlan Group are a strategic ally that we must take care of. One of the UN SDGs integrated into the Group’s culture is Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. That’s why we carry out initiatives such as healthy eating talks, advice for cancer prevention and maintaining good mental health, Pilates classes, weekly fruit for the entire staff, or participation in races and sports tournaments, among others. This recognition encourages us to continue developing activities to promote healthy habits.

HUCA PROJECT

Our human capital strategy is based on a project we have been developing since 2022 called HUCA. It is grounded on four pillars: promoting our values and culture, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities; enhancing our commitment to talent by constantly providing development and career progression opportunities; ensuring high-quality, rewarding, and stable employment; and safeguarding the safety, health, and well-being of our teams. As part of the HUCA project, the 3S Program is born with the main objective of raising awareness about the importance of taking care of the 3Ss: physical health, mental health, and emotional health.
