We present the SheRise project

We present SheRise, a project that reflects our commitment to promoting equal opportunities. Its main goal is to address the barriers that limit the development of female talent.

SheRise is more than just a name—it symbolizes progress and collaboration.

What is the SheRise project about?

Over the coming years, SheRise will focus on:

  • Eliminating barriers: Identifying and reducing unconscious biases that hinder equal opportunities and the recognition of existing talent.
  • Encouraging female leadership: Laying the groundwork for increasing the presence of women in leadership positions.
  • Developing support networks: Creating spaces to share experiences, find inspiration, and grow professionally.
  • Promoting an inclusive culture: Actively involving everyone at Gorlan, regardless of gender.

Key Actions of the Project:

  • Training programs, networking, and mentoring: Designed to enhance the development and leadership skills of our people.
  • Monitoring and evaluation: Dashboards to measure key indicators such as pay gaps, training hours by gender, development opportunities, etc.
  • Task Force Groups: Teams dedicated to analyzing the causes of inequality and proposing solutions.

Who is leading the SheRise project?

The project will be internally led by the talent management, marketing, and corporate sustainability teams, with the collaboration of multidisciplinary teams across the organization.

A Meaningful Launch

We proudly announce the launch of SheRise on the eve of International Women’s Day, where we will celebrate the fundamental role of women in our organization and society, reaffirming our commitment to gender equality and female talent development.

Next Steps:

During March—the month of equality—we will launch two major initiatives: the search for role models within the organization and the creation of a volunteer group to visit schools. We’ll share more updates soon—stay tuned!

As a first step, we invite you to take this gender bias test: https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/index.jsp. Breaking biases is the first step toward improving gender-related data.

In this video, Ohiane Olmo Arcos, Director of Talent Management at Gorlan, shares more details about the project and how it will contribute to building a future with more opportunities for all. Don’t miss it!

SheRise is an opportunity to build an environment where talent and opportunities have no limits. Together, we make a difference.

SheRise 2025 begins!
